Pistachio Crêpes

Homemade best pistachio crêpes recipe

Crêpes are like pancakes’ elegant skinny French sister—super thin and incredibly versatile. Imagine a delicate pancake filled with a variety of delicious fillings. You can indulge in savoury crêpes with goat cheese and mushrooms or opt for sweet crêpes filled with bananas and Nutella. The possibilities are truly endless! My favourite way to enjoy them is filled with luscious pistachio crème, creating a rich and indulgent treat that’s hard to resist.

When it comes to indulgent brunch ideas or elegant desserts, crêpes often steal the show. But if you're craving something that brings a nutty, luxurious twist to this French classic, pistachio crêpes are exactly what you need. A delicious crepe filled to the brim with pistachio creme

Honestly I love that the French found out we could have pancakes for breakfast…

Why Pistachio Crêpes?

Pistachios add a delightful complexity to crêpes, transforming them from a simple canvas to a delicious, flavorful experience. Unlike traditional crêpes, which are typically plain or slightly sweet, pistachio crêpes have a hint of nuttiness that pairs beautifully with both sweet and savory fillings. Plus, the green tint adds an attractive visual element that makes these crêpes perfect for special occasions like brunch gatherings or holiday breakfasts.

Tips for the Perfect Pistachio Crêpes

Choose High-Quality Pistachio paste -:For the best flavor, use high-quality pistachio paste, you won’t regret it!

Don’t Skip the Resting Time - Allowing the batter to rest helps create tender crêpes that won’t tear easily.

Don’t skip on the vanilla and salt - For a simple recipe such as a crepe, it is even more important to add vanilla and salt to balance out all the flavours
