Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte

Strawberry Matcha Latte

This single-serve recipe couldn’t be more straightforward and will cool you down on these hot days! And also a big congratulations on already making it halfway through your work week.

Now all you need is just 4 ingredients & 5 minutes to make this insta- worthy, drooling-looking drink at the comfort of your own home.

Matcha vs Coffee

Now don’t get me wrong, I'm a big advocate for a cup of coffee in the morning to get caffeinated, but sometimes you’re looking for a drink that does the trick but is just slightly more refreshing in taste. This Strawberry Matcha Latte for sure ticks all the boxes!

Did you know that that green powdery goodness actually provides you with a little less caffeine than your standard cup of coffee? Still, matcha tends to release it’s energy boost throughout the day which takes away that post-coffee crash you usually have. So, you get energy but will feel less jittery and anxious? Win-win!

Plus, this drink is so so so good!

Tips for making the best Iced Matcha Latte

Dissolve your matcha in hot water - This will ensure you don’t end up with any lumps! Most recipes use those fancy tools like a matcha whisk, but I noticed that a simple whisk or spoon works just fine

Use your favourite milk - You can make this recipe vegan, non-dairy, non-vegan, whatever floats your boat! The choice of milk is all up to you, as long as it’s a regular plain flavour :)

Use a mix of fresh strawberries and jam - I find that mixing your fresh strawberries with a little bit of jam makes for the perfect balance between sweetness and tartness.

Enjoy loves!
